Come along for the launch of a new picture book, My Superhero, by Chris Owen and illustrated by Moira Court. The launch activities will start with a make-your-own superhero mask activity from 11am.
Publisher—Fremantle Press—says the illustrations from My Superhero are already generating national interest. It was one of just 26 books to represent Australia at the APA’s ‘Hello! From Australia’ exhibition at the Bologna Book Fair in 2013. Moira Court’s original artworks have been purchased by the State Library in WA for the Peter Williams Collection.
My Superhero will be launched by James Foley—illustrator of The Last Viking, and author-illustrator of In the Lion.
